hri Rama Gita, a dialogue between Bhagavan Shri Rama as the
SGuru and Lakshmana as the disciple, is found in the Aranya
Kanda of the Ramayana. However, this discourse, called Shri Rama
Gita, is part of the Adhyatma Ramayana, authored by Bhagavan
Shri Veda Vyasa – the Sage who composed the Mahabharata,
regarded as both Itihasa and Dharma Shastra.
As the name suggests, the Adhyatma Ramayana emphasizes
the spiritual dimensions of life. While the events in Shri Rama’s
life remain unchanged, their deeper spiritual significance is
brought to the forefront. This text also consists of seven chapters,
bearing the same titles as the original: Bala Kanda, Ayodhya Kanda,
and so on.
Shielding Devi Sita
In Uttara Kanda, we witness Bhagavan Rama’s return from exile and
his coronation as king. However, his reign soon faces a moment
of great turmoil – an incident that continues to spark debate.
