Dip into the Divine Confluence
ccurring every 144 years, the 2025 Maha Kumbh was truly
Ohistoric and unparalleled. It set new records as the world’s
largest religious gathering, with over 500 million visitors from
more than 190 countries, reaching a global audience of over 500
million through live-streaming. A tribute to India’s spiritual,
technological, and administrative prowess, the event featured
22 pontoon bridges, 5,000 km of newly constructed roads, and
over 30,000 security personnel, enhanced by AI-powered
surveillance, drone monitoring, and facial recognition systems.
To ensure health and safety, 1,000 free medical camps and
4,000 additional hospital beds were set up.
A key focus was sustainability, with solar-powered lights
and eco-friendly waste disposal units in place. Another
remarkable aspect was the sheer inclusivity – people from all
walks of life, ages, and backgrounds came together for the sacred
dip. Our Chinmaya Family – Swamins, Brahmacharins, sevaks,
and sevikas, including Tapovan Prasad team members –
participated wholeheartedly in this profound spiritual experience. 1

center, immerse ourselves in its activities, sing bhajans, chant
stotrams, listen to discourses, and contemplate deeply. In doing so,
we plunge into our own Triveni – the confluence of Ganga (bhakti),
Yamuna (Karma Yoga), and Saraswati (jïäna). The Maha Kumbha
need not be a once-in-a-lifetime event; it can be experienced
every month, every week, every day – even every moment!
For those who made it to Prayagraj, may this journey of
immersion continue through dedicated participation in Mission
activities. This is Pujya Gurudev’s beautiful blessing to us –
may we be ever-immersed in the timeless Kumbh
of our glorious guru-paramparä by serving selflessly,
seeking knowledge, cultivating unwavering devotion,
and cleansing our mind of all its impurities. Editorial
