Pujya Swami Swaroopananda visited Chinmaya Vidyalaya
New Delhi on February 13, 2024, where Pujya Swamiji first
interacted with Vinay Bharadwaj, a renowned filmmaker
and talk show host, and then proceeded to have an
inspiring Q&A session with the teachers. We present
herewith the second part of the interaction.

Communicate Effectively

Teacher: Swamiji, we as teachers are dealing with students.
How can we bridge the gap between different generations
and communicate effectively with our pupils?

Swami Swaroopananda: First, we have to understand their
language and what earlier terms mean to them. I’ll give you an
example. You don’t have to act cool and use words such as ‘Fomo’,
Yolo’, ‘Brb’, and so on. Vocabularies have changed and the terms
