Swami Sivayogananda and Br. Jitesh Chaitanya with the winners of GCC in Madurai.

        Those  present  were    Shri  R. Gopalsamy,  Vice  President  of  the
        Mission, and Smt. Banumathi Balasubramanian from the CHIMA
        Group of Industries, Sivakasi & Madurai.  Br. Jitesh Chaitanya
        highlighted the significance of  Bhagavad  Gita Ch. 15 (Purushottama
        Yoga). Chief Guest Shri G.V. Ramesh Kumar (Chief Editor of Dinamalar)
        inaugurated  the  competition.    The  GCC  event  went  smoothly  thanks
        to the efforts of the Devi Group and Chinmaya Yuva Kendra.

        1. Swami Brahmananda  conducted a  satsang as part of Kartika
        Masa  celebrations  in  Sripaadakshetra  on  Nov.  2. After  Rudrabhisheka
        and  bhajans, Swamiji addressed  the gathering, stressing  that
        experiences  of the world are available only when the senses, mind,
        and intellect interact with the outer world of plurality.

        Two years after the launch of the ‘Nourish to Flourish’ project, which
        has served more than 250,000 meals to the  poor so far,
        Swami Abhedananda led the  Prana Pratishtha of the world’s first
        Annapoorna Devi Temple outside the Indian subcontinent on Dec. 1.
