The Freedom Hidden in Creation

As we know, an atom is made up of several parts. Inside, there
is a multilevel structure, and we find the electron orbiting the
nucleus at a fascinating energy level. It has individuality, and it
has freedom. So, we need to understand that even this little
electron, which is a material thing, a negative charge of electricity,
seems to have an intrinsic life and ability of its own. It has
baffled the calculations of scientists who believed in the
universality of causal determinism, that everything is mechanically
determined. The electron has challenged that theory.

The movement of the electron has demonstrated a freedom
of its own, the capacity to jump from one orbit to another. It is
quite amazing that this little unit of energy seems to enjoy
freedom of movement and can leap from one orbit to another. This
is called a quantum jump, and no one has yet determined how
this transition occurs. It cannot be determined or calculated by
any known law of science. So, you see, this opens an entirely new
